L.A. Contemporary Dance Company presents:
MODERN MYTHS AND MONSTERS
What: Modern Myths and Monsters – a repertory concert showcasing four new works by three L.A.
based choreographers; the pieces have a common theme of reinterpreting history, predicting the
future and exposing the myths and monsters that have shaped our physical and emotional evolution.
Who: Choreography by Mecca Vazie Andrews, Nichol Mason and Kate Hutter
Original music by composers Eric Mason and Sam Cooper

Description
L.A. Contemporary Dance Company (LACDC) presents four world premieres by local L.A. choreographers Mecca Vazie Andrews, Nichol Mason, and LACDC Artistic Director, Kate Hutter, for two weekends only in Downtown Los Angeles as part of their Spring 2008 Repertory concert. By taking a new perspective on life and the human condition, these three choreographers create works with the fantastical, mythological and other-worldy in mind.
Notes
The theatre opens to the public 30 minutes prior to each performance, with seating on a first come, first served basis. With the exception of "Reserved" tickets, available for $25 each where your premium seats will be held together until the moment the show begins.
