CASTING CALL "MASTER OF DANCE"
“Master of Dance” is a new reality competition game show on the TLC Network. We are searching for FUN and OUTGOING contestants with GREAT PERSONALITIES! All contestants will be expected to dance appropriately as the music transitions through the various songs … If you’re 25 years to 40 years of age and love to dance, no matter how good you are, then prove it by submitting a photo of yourself, contact info, occupation and why you think you are the “MASTER OF DANCE” and we will schedule you in for an audition.

SUMMER CAMP AT THE BEACH - Counselors, Directors, MCs, Arts & Crafts (Malibu, Pac. Pal., Santa Mon, South Bay)
Counselors…Camp MC…Arts & Crafts…Director…Assistant Director
Hang out at the beach and get paid! Well, kind of…there is some work involved! Fitness by the Sea Kid’s Camp is looking for counselors and specialists to work with kids ages 5 – 13 at our summer day camp program. Camp runs from June 16 (Pacific Palisades) or from June 23 (Malibu, Santa Monica, South Bay) – August 29, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm. Pre-camp training is held on June 1, 8, 14, & 15. We provide a fun, upbeat working environment for those who are energetic, love children, and don’t mind working hard to make a difference in a child’s life. If this is you, read on…
COUNSELORS & General Staff Requisites:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be extremely energetic, outgoing, fun & enthusiastic
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and leadership skills
• Must be able to lead campers in a variety of activities (see below)
• Must be self motivated
• Must be innovative, creative and flexible
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Camp experience as a camper or a counselor preferred
• Specialty skills are desirable (i.e. surfing, dance, gymnastics, sports, drama, story telling, etc.)
• Counselor pay ranges from $10 – 15/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
ASSISTANT DIRECTORS (Pacific Palisades only):
• Prefer past camp director experience
• Must be organized, reliable and flexible
• Must be a people person with excellent communication skills
• Job includes assisting owner/director with program set-up and implementation
• Will work alongside owner/director supervising staff in daily camp activities
• The ability to professionally interact with staff, campers & parents is an absolute requirement.
• Assistant Director pay ranges from $16 – 20/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
DIRECTORS (Malibu, Santa Monica, South Bay):
• Prefer past camp director experience
• Must be organized, reliable and flexible
• Must have prior management experience
• Must be a people person with excellent communication skills
• Job includes directing every aspect of daily camp operations including set up, implementation, staff supervision, etc.
• The ability to professionally interact with staff, campers & parents is an absolute requirement.
• Director pay ranges from $20 - 25/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
CAMP MCs:
• Must have prior camp experience as a camper or counselor
• Will be the “voice” of Fitness by the Sea to the campers
• Must be able to lead entire camp in songs, skits, presentations, etc. and be able to control a crowd
• Must be familiar with “camp lingo” and be able to maintain the camp feel throughout the day
• MC pay ranges from $10 – 15/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
ARTS & CRAFTS SPECIALISTS:
• Must be very creative & innovative
• Must be able to plan, schedule, and teach a wide assortment of arts & crafts activities
• Will be responsible for implementing existing arts & crafts projects and coming up with new and fresh ideas
• Must be a team player and able lead both counselors and kids in activities
• Must be organized and efficient
• Arts & Crafts Specialist pay ranges from $14 – 16/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Daily Camp Activities Include:
• Water activities (surfing, boogie boarding, swimming)
• Team Sports (soccer, volleyball, capture the flag, dodge ball, flag football…etc.)
• Individual Activities (gymnastics, cheerleading, boxing, dance, obstacle course…etc.)
• Creative Expression (arts & crafts, face painting, theater games, sand castles, magic…etc.)

Sports and recreation company seeks current or former hip hop dancers for teaching youth programs.

We train all newly hired coaches and instructors how to teach youth. We also provide curriculum for coaches and instructors to teach from. These recreation programs are held in various community facilities throughout southern California. Boys and girls ages 5-15 are enrolled and students are placed into classes according to age and skill level.
Our Hip Hop Dance program is popular with both girls and boys. Instructors promote artistic expression, movement, and teamwork in a fun musical environment!
REQUIREMENTS:
•18 years of age or older
•Valid driver’s license
•2 years dancing experience
•No felonies or DUI’s (We do background checks)
